Take them out of the pan and in the same pan add the remaining red wine and beef consommé, scraping the pan for the bits of filet to blend in with the sauce and boil it for 1 minute. To this add both the mushroom and soy sauce and thyme and boil fro another 1 minute. Arrange the steaks on a plate pour the sauce over it and garnish with fresh thyme. Serve this accompanied by baked potatoes.
